We had another fabulous weekend camping. We have to thank the Oldham family for allowing us to come and party with them for Easter!! There were many activities for the kids to be involved with. Piñata's, Easter Egg hunts (both daytime and nighttime), riding four-wheelers, making beads, swinging, jumping on the trampoline, and finally dying easter eggs!

What a fabulous Spring Break!! We went camping down to Yuba Lake. We had a great time painting rocks, going on a Easter Egg hunt, and riding on the Beckstand's ranger. Thanks to everyone who made it such a wonderful weekend!!

I have struggled whether I should post this, put then I decided that this is an event that has made a strong impact on our family's life. And this is something that I am documenting for our sake; so ignore if you wish.

On Thursday February 3rd, I will never forget the phone call that I received from my dear friend Julie Cook. I knew the minute that I said hello, things were not good. She proceeded to inform me that Whitney ( her oldest daughter) had been diagnosed with cancer. I remember having to physically brace the wall so I wouldn't fall. It was a heartbreaking moment for me and my family. I have shed many tears and said countless prayers for my sweet Whitney. She has formally been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

We had another wonderful day skiing!! It was 40 degrees, sunny and NO WIND!
